Description

Well, it all started after viewing "Lina" by jimiyo (http://jimiyo.gfxartist.com/ , love your stuff, especially saphire portrait!) He provided a link to Lina's site, i went there, and found a bunch of awesome photographs. Here's the site:

I just fell in love with this one picture, the lighting was so original, as was the pose I'll attach the original photo lower on the page, and i'll give credit when i find out who it is in the photo, but i think it's Lina herself! : P Yeah, just so no one persecutes me, i did NOT take the original photo. All i did was draw this picture of it.

Mostly done with pencil, but the feather hat was greatly improved in Painter IX. I darkened it to increase the contrasting effect that came from the photo, as well. It's not really supposed to be a portrait, it's supposed to be more "art for art's sake", as it seems the original picture was : D
